Neil R. Blount, 66, of North Providence, passed on February 18, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Taylor) Blount. They were together for over 20 years. Neil was the son of the late Gilbert and Grace (Dube) Blount.

Neil worked as a truck driver for many years. In addition to his career as a truck driver he had a keen eye as an auto detailer. He also served his country proudly as a member of the U.S. Navy. Beyond his professional pursuits, Neil found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to music, watching documentaries, and swimming and running. Most of all Neil enjoyed nothing more than relaxing at home with his beloved wife and family.

Besides his loving wife he is survived by a daughter, Jessica Rudacevsky; three grandchildren, Isabella, Gianna, Darian; three great-grandchildren, Nano, Cayden, Camiro; two siblings, Patricia “Patti” MacClean, David Blount; cousin, Dawn Bishop; many nieces and nephews; and his cat, Luna. He was the brother of the late Robert Blount.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, March 2nd from 3:00 – 5:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral home service at 5:00pm. Burial with Military Honors will be MONDAY, March 4th at 1:00pm at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Please meet directly at the cemetery gates.
